Additional uses for the Facility
Holding Site
Family Connections
envisions a multi-purpose facility where each use will be to the benefit
of families and children. One additional use of the facility is as a
holding site for children who have been removed from their homes but a
foster home has not yet been located. A CPS staff member can bring
those children to the facility where they can rest, eat, or play
age-appropriate games while a Family Connections staff member interacts
with the children.
